Communication Question

I am a customer.

Earlier today I placed an order. I received absolutely no communication from the shopper. Not even a message to say the order was completed and delivered. I had my phone with me the entire time.

When I checked the app I saw it was delivered but it wasn’t outside my door. Very unusual for Shipt.

The customer service ufone call packages agent said it was delivered but that the shopper couldn’t find me. I hope whoever finds where she left the groceries gets to them before the ice cream melts.

My questions

• are the shoppers the ones who generate all the messages or are some automatic?

• should I be able to see any messages in the app as well as on my phone?
