Recently I downloaded client 11.47.5602 (from this topic) with fixed 127.0.0.1 and it works perfectly. But when I edit this client with notepad++ and change 127.0.0.1 to my own IP (public, port forwarded, everything is ok), client can't even start and it loses it's icon. What other changes should I do to make it work?

Tested with IP 227.0.0.1 - client is working but (obviously) I can't login - wrong address. Does client check if number of digits of IP address = number of digits in 127.0.0.1? How to work out this problem?
