Alguns scripts que vou coloca no meu site as vezes pede para adicionar alguma tag em INDEX.PHP e quase sempre elas são desse tipo abaixo:

$topic = "Confirmar Pontos";

include("confirmacao.php");

break;

 

só que meu index e totalmente diferente e eu não sei como vou encaixar aquele código nessa pasta...

Adicione no layout.php entao.
